Not sure if it's relevant but... my Clio blower does not work on setting 2. Switch, motor and resistor pack are fine, but the problem is the connector to the resistor pack. The number 2 setting has obviously been used most and that connector pin has got hot and started to melt around that pin messing up the connection. Only option for me is to grab an old dashboard loom and chop off the connector and graft it onto my loom. Bobster60

 

Cheers Bobster, I will take a closer look at my connectors to my resistor, although I think there is only one extra wire going into it. Other than the live and earth feed

 

definitively the resistor and connecting switch give trouble on the renaults, get new resistor and switch and should be fine!

 

hi dont know alot about cars but learning. i had a primera p12 for my last car and hat the same problem and it was the heater control module it looks like this

the other guys seem to be very sure it is the resisters but just incase its not you could try that. in my primera it was in the drivers footwell top left hand side.
