have you got a bit more info about the problem, it sounds like a problem with the pre heat system ie glow plugs or relays.

hi and thanks, its my dads van and he has just rebuilt the engine, new head gasket, new glow plugs, new turbo and turbo pipe, changed the rings, changed big ends, new valve seals, all running perfect, but now it takes a while to start and then as it builds up speed the check engine and stop lights comes on the dash, took it to intune to hook up to machine and they couldnt find the problem. so here we are trying to find a solution.

 

Get it hooked up to diagnostics to see if any faults have been recorded in your ecu
