Short story, I cant input the code for my radio because the input 0000 wont display.
Long story:
Hi there, first time poster, first car as a matter of fact. I have a 2001 Renault Clio Grande (The Grande part is a lie) and a few months ago my battery went flat. This triggered the lockout on the radio, but I didn't connect the two events straight away. I spent some time mashing random buttons while driving and while I did notice a 0000 flashing on the display, again I didn't connect it to a code lockout until later.
Now, however, after realising what's going on and finding my code I'm not being offered the oppertunity to actually enter it.
I've waited with the key in the correct position (the one before actual ignition right?) for 32 mins+ to result.
I then tried a factory reset as detailed here (thanks guys, found it through this forum). After performing the reset the radio started beeping at me over Radio 1 (not that I think that's relevant) for a couple of minutes until falling silent again. Then nothing. Now every time I turn the radio on I get two minutes of beepy radio then silence, and still no display!
