Is this the gear box drain plug on my Van?
It's just that I've recently paid to have my gearbox oil changed and from the evidence I've found, if this is the drain plug, it was DRY and undisturbed from what appears to be since the day it was manufactured.
I've unscrewed it slightly and there is oil behind it, but I didn't let any drain out. I suspect all they did was top it up as that area, where the plastic butterfly bolt is, is wet-ish.
