Hi,
New to the Forum (first renault - very happy with it apart from the problem described below), so hope i havent duplicate posted etc (couldnt find anything that really addressed my specific set of issues)
I wonder if anyone can help shed some light on the following problem please.
I have just had my wifes megane Scenic (55 plate 1.9 dci) serviced at the Renault garage, and they have advised that there are 2 fault codes read from the diagnostic computer - "DF004 turbo charging pressure sensor circuit", and "DF025 Preheating unit diagnostic connection". The computer ID is EDC16 C3 Injection.
The car is sometimes hestitant when pulling away (sometime dangerously so as perfectly viable gaps in traffic turn into excruciating manoveres as the car dithers into the path of the on coming cars...before taking off on full chat making me look and feel like a right prat!) and it shows the "Check Injection" error message on the dash, with the service light on (always from cold - sometimes goes away when restarting warm).
Renault have suggested changing the turbo pressure switch.
Before i allow them to play the usual "swap the parts" lottery at my cost, I would really like to ask the experts:
a) has anyone seen this issue before
b) what was the cause / solution
c) is it viable to resolve this myself (Im pretty handy with a spanner and a DVM)
Many thanks in advance for any comments received!
Mark
