Theres probably nothing wrong with the key card, I do not have the hands free with my card but the drivers door is the only one to unlock when I press the button on the card, if I press the button for more than 2 seconds all doors unlock.

Mine can be used to open all doors with one quick press if I wish by using the interior lock button to programme it.

Your drivers handbook will explain how to programme yours.

 

Hi Dave - interesting idea of yours about being able to change the once only button sequence on the opening of the car using the interior locking switch. Any idea how to do would be appreciated.

For some reason a previous owner of the car must have had it configured that way.

I believe only a Renault Dealer can reconfigure the system so as all doors unlock at once.

Tho there is an option in page 1.8 of the handbook " Using the Renault Card in restricted mode " whereby only the drivers door can be opened

 

Update on Auto door unlock

Hi and thanks to all of you that replied to my thread last week. I have now had the problem diagnosed and it turned out to be the mechanism on the back door lock on the inside that was at fault. This also put out the front door as well. I have now had the problem repaired at a cost of £122 pounds and all is working ok again.
