Which Coolant Should I Use? (MEGANE III)

My coolant system has been emptied and flushed. Which coolant should I use?

Here are my vehicle specifications:
RENAULT MEGANE MK III
1.6 PETROL
HATCH 5DR
VEHICLE CODE BZ0H
ENGINE K4M 848
YEAR 2009
EXTREME VVT 101BHP

I have been told to go with OAT pink, but I can only find OAT red. I've looked at:
Halfords OAT
Triple QX OAT RED
GLACEOL Type-D
MOTUL INUGEL OPTIMAL OAT

Ideally, I'd like the QX or the Halfords stuff, because I can get them from local stores at a good price.

Thank you.

I've been told to go with OAT pink, but can't find it. GSF and ECP suggest OAT red for my vehicle.
GSF have VETECH RED for £16 5L with my online code. -34c to 135c protection.

Specs seem far better than all the other coolants.... unless specs have been taken whilst the coolant was under pressurization perhaps.... which would of course increase the boiling point.

OAT
Colour irrelevant.
Not Ribena but apart from that, IMO make isn't relevant either.

If you want to be absolutely 100%, only use Renault coolant, available from main dealers.
But Halfords, QX, whatever will work and not harm engine.

As long as it is OAT, it doesn't matter on the colour?
Most coolants are -34 to 108c protection. VETEC is -38 to 135c. Would this be a good coolant to use or are the specs a bit too good to be true?

Vetech are a brand name used by GSF.
Bit like supermarkets selling own brand items.
Often means that they have a deal with the better known people who make the branded product.
So Asda washing up liquid is actually made by Fairy Liquid (possibly) and works just as well.

What you are putting your trust in is that GSF have done their proper research and are selling something fit for purpose.
Exactly as Halfords does, they don't make their anti freeze.
I go no issues with that or any knowledge that says whoa, don't do it. Quick google doesn't bring up any horror stories.

Your car should never see 108 degrees, if it does something is wrong and a notional higher temp rating on the coolant will not protect.
Your choice, go for the big names (Branded) or own brand from someone like GSF.

Thanks for the help and advice. One last thing if I may... I've found Prestone Antifreeze 50/50 ready mix. I "think" it might be HOAT. If so, would it work? It says it can be added with any colour coolant, so if there's any left over in the system, it should mix OK in theory, assuming it doesn't mean "mix with other 'HOAT' coolants only".....assuming it's HOAT anyway!

Ignore that ridiculous price, I can get it for £12-£13 with my discount.
