1.9 dCI Engine Oil Leaking.

Hello.

2004 1.9 dCI.100K miles. Engine oil leaking down back of the engine onto the CAT area, hence burning smell. It has just had new turbo and has a good service history. No other faults apparent.
Can't confirm if the intercooler was cleaned/serviced.
Could a pipe have been incorrectly refitted?

Hello and welcome to the forum.:)

It does sound like either the oil feed pipe to the turbo or the oil return pipe from the turbo to the sump are leaking.If it was a garage that fitted the replacement turbo I'd get it back to them so they can rectify their mistake.
