Knocking sound from the front nearside wheel of my Renault Megane 111 1.6 Expression. The knocking is very noticeable with windows open even on only slightly uneven road surfaces. I've removed the Wheel and can recreate the knocking sound by tapping the brake disc with the palm of my hand. Any ideas what may be causing it?

Normally knocking from fronts on uneven ground seem to fall into, broken springs, worn drop links or strut upper bearing.
However, if managing to reproduce from brake disc....

Loose caliper
Loose pad
Or if moving disc when knocking it, track rod end.
