Check injection and df025

Hi, first post and absolutely no clue about cars ....have bought a 1.5dci 2008 megane and when on motorway in fourth or fifth above 50mph I have check injection and spanner light on....never happens in urban driving. Car starts first time and no apparent loss of power. Had rac out who said fault comes up as df025 preheating diagnostic connection. In my very limited knowledge this is glow plugs but car starts almost instantly and check injection message never comes on until on motorway over 50 mph. He said it was not an injector as fuel pressure was as expected and car is not missing. I'm feeling vibrations in fourth and fifth gear until I get to 2000 revs tho...goes away then...unsure if this is unrelated problem? Any help gratefully received.

Ignore the pre-heating warning.
This is saying one, probably two glow plugs have failed.
Will need sorting before winter but is not current problem.

I'd suspect (no guarantees) fuel filter.
Relatively cheap and easy swap anyway and removes one possibility if nothing else.

Got to ask, did you or RAC Guy switch ignition off before it was diagnosed ..
That was the fault code you were after, not the preheating fault code..

Thanks for your help guys...yes ignition was turned off. He cleared codes. Started it up again and df025 was still there...in his words 'engine is running sweet, I wouldn't worry about it' but is a worry after just buying it

I have the same problem. 2008 megane 1.5 dci. Check injection warning came up. Car went into limp mode. Diagnosed it and glow plug relay faulty came up(sited inside p/s inner wing protector below headlight). Renewed the relay, cleared the fault....hey presto....I thought.

Now when I come to a hill and put my foot down the check injection warning comes up and the car goes back into limp mode. Clear the fault and its back to normal.....until the next hill.

Ill check the glow plugs tomorrow and come back to this thread if I find a fix and share it with everyone on the forum.

did you ever sort your problem.. sounds just like mine.. car runs perfectly locally unless I accelerate in higher gears would love advice please.. is changing glow plug relay and plugs expensive?
