Some background info, I have a 53 plate, 3 door 1.2 clio expression.
In the next week or so I plan to change the orange leds behind the speedometer to blue, I have the correct soldering iron and tools for the job. I plan on following this tutorial.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dotVYFoORUk
As well do at the same time is change the bulbs behind the clock, again from orange to blue.
The questions I have are, how do I get the speedometer off from the dash, I have read about 5 different plans, and have the haynes manual but it seems to make no sense, can someone give me some simple instructions?
I know the leds to get for the speedo (they're advertised in the description of the tutorial) but the clock I do not.
How do I remove the clock to change the bulbs and what do I need? Is it a new blue bulb or filter as I have heard somewhere?
Thanks very much for any help!

Hi to remove the speedo from the dash you need to remove the two pillars that go down the side of the windscreen then you need to remove the dash inserts (the little plastic bits above the glove box and a bit at the drivers side)to reveale the screws that hold the dash inplace then remove the screws that are located in the air vent for the windscreen after that you can lift the dash to get to the screws that hold the clocks inplace remove them then tilt the clocks forward so you can unclip the wires and lift the clocks out. I have done this to a clio that i had and must say they do look mint when they all done even better than in the tutorial.

these should be the same size LEDs as fitted to most 2001- Renault digital dashboards. (PLCC+2 1210)

general ebay linky here

dont get ones that are too over bright, as the output power on these Blue LED's can get a bit mental.

the retail prices on these have fallen drasticaly in the last year or two (check out maplins prices to compare what they were selling for, if they even still sell them)
