Hi, hopefully this is very straight forward but I searched the web and come up empty....

How do I remove the centre display (Carminat SatNav unit) in a 2011 Kangoo Van. Can I just prise it out or do I need to remove the entire top dash?

I want to modify the unit to allow installation of a reverse camera

Thanks for any advice

Well, since no one else could help I used the old suck it and see method.

In case anyone wants to know, the facia around the Satnav does just pull off. I squeezed my finger under the bottom left hand corner and gently pulled. Hey presto it came away and it is now quite obvious that it is just a push fit. With that removed there are 2 screws that will (hopefully) allow the unit to be removed.

Not a clue mate, that's why we did not answer, and what I usually look at, for some reason, ( me messing, and deleting wrong file) Got no Kango info ....
But glad you have sorted it...
Pictures would be great , future reference for someone else:wink2:

Hi, I've got a Kangoo maxi 64 plate with the empty top pod on the dash. Very handy stash box. But, I'd like to mount my radio transceiver in there so need to run a coax, a live and an earth in to there and fix my unit down. Does this pod just pop out or is it top dash out job please?
