Hi there, i have a laguna II 1.9 dci touring on a 52 plate. As the title says the fuel gauge has stopped working and i have a constant petrol light and no mpg, miles to run info. It just happeded all of a sudden. my girlfriend said it just went on its own. Everything else on the car works totally fine apart from no buzzer sound when the lights are left on and you get out of the car. I have carried out an instrument cluster test and that works fine. i suspected it might be the fuel sender unit but before i replace it i decided to use a multimeter on the electrical plug that plugs into it. there are 4 wires going into the plug that goes into the sender unit. I have put the multimeter across all 4 points on the plug with ignition on and also engine running but there is no voltage what so ever. Anyone seen this before. Thankyou for any help, Dave.

Apparently there is a relay for the fuel pump under the bonnet but I haven't a clue which one it is. A lot of people say its in position r6 but its just an empty space and nothing has ever been there. Anyone have a pic or diagram of the 1.9 dci engine bay fuse and relay positions so I know what one does what. Cheers, Dave.
