Laguna II Ph 2 Xenon headlights

Hi All,

My xenon headlights seem to be working fine, but I like to be proactive. I think maybe they sometimes don't adjust downwards as smoothly as I would like, however. Can anybody give a few hints as to whether the ph2 headlights have ballasts which get wet as with the ph1s? Can anybody suggest how I can grease any of the levelling motion? Any other hints on maintaining the lights?

The Ph 2 Xenons will have ballasts just like the Ph 1's but Im sure they would have cured the water ingress problem as Im sure they did on the later Phase 1's with extra seals etc.

You could grease the suspension links, this may help.

Thanks - I guess I need to have a look myself, I didn't spot it when I inspected the brakes.

If memory serves me correctly the links are on the front and rear left suspension arms. Look for little short plastic links.
The Lag II Xenon ballasts are still prone to leaking though. To prevent water ingress you should remove them make sure they are entirely dry. A good blast with the hairdryer or a long stay in the hot-press helps - then seal all joinyts with silicon sealer. This involves removing the front bumper though
