Hy everyone!

Long time no see :)

I still keep my megane mk2, 1.5dci but now counting almost 600.000km :)

Well, I've decided to buy another one, a mk2 also but with a lot less km and a bit less older, I'm going to give some rest to the old one.

Now, this one I've bought only have 1 key, its a hands free version but I only have 1 key. I've been away from this and I've decided to catch up because now I need to clone my working keycard to another handsfree keycard but to do that I'll need your inputs, I think you guys are more aware of things than me.

So far I've managed to understand that i need to PRECODE the card with Zed-bull (or other tool which I don't have), but to do that I'll need the PIN code for the car and only in the end the virgin card can be programmed. In the process I've to be very carefull because I'll be only able to do it once, the PCF7943 only accepts one writing, no space for failures.

Right now this is not urgent but it can be, I've recovered two keycards in the past and posted how to do it here 10 years ago, and during this time I've never needed the 2nd card - thank God :) For this "new" car I want to have the 2nd card available, just in case..

Thanks everyone

Hello, sorry to dig up and old post I have an odd issue which may be very common. So my key card works fine when place in the reader in the dash and starts the car every time without fail. However the keyless entry and keyless start doesn’t and either the doors don’t unlock when I put my hand in the handle unless I apply pressure around the coil area. same applies once in the car and get the ‘card not detected’ message unless I apply pressure to the coil area or insert it into the slot. I took it apart and originally found 2 of the 3 connectors had broke so soldered them and seemed okay or so I thought. could it be a bad coil and needs replacing or do I need to dig a little further for something that may be causing this issue? many thanks
