Hi and welcome,all i can suggest is to check that you have got good tight battery connections as well as the earthing strap at both ends are good and tight also and see how it goes from there, i hope this helps Donald.

 

all is tight, the standard battery is a 618, i put a 658 in because i have large sound, any other suggestions pls???

 

HI Audiopipe - try disconnecting you sound system as there may be a power drainage causing a voltage variation

Hi Audiopipe - obviously with your sound system your battery gets a lot of work - have you had the battery load tested - could be a duff cell which gets a chance to recover when disconnected - also may be worth getting the alternator output checked.
