I need to remove the front n/s wheel arch liner on a 1998 mk II Clio (to repair some minor wing damage).

Do the wheel arch liners just pull off (and am I likely to break any clips doing so)?

Hello Stefan ... the liners have large "christmas tree" washers/clips that hold the liners in place ... they are a pain in the behind to remove without breaking them (they tend to tear the top off if you dont use the special tool in my experience) ... the good news is they are only 27p each + VAT at your local Renault dealer ... so go and buy 2 or 3 before you start.
