Renault Clio 2002 leaking issues!

Hi

Not sure if anyone can help me but Ive read a few posts and wondering if someone can help me, my clio seems to leak from the sun-visor and is damp all the time at the min, it was an electric sunroof but has been bogged in and sealed shut before i bought it and ive even gone around the edges with gutter sealent as i cannot make it leak when i test with water on it, so my question is can there be any other place were its getting in as im losing hope! Also last week when parked outside my house "car facing downhill" the passenger foot-well has a puddle, using common sense i thought its leaking from under the glove box but its not wet there, any ideas? as this the last clio i will ever buy in my life ha! :crazy:

any guidance will be much appreciated!

Clio sunroofs are the biggest pain ever... chances are it is slowly leaking through the sunroof, down the liner and popping out the sun visor, probably the reason why its already been sealed up!
Have you checked your sunroof drains cause if these are blocked you cant get rid of the water and it will just sit there waiting for somewhere to go!

Your best bet may be to remove all additional sealant, give it a real good clean and then mask off around the edges of the sun roof seal with some tape and force as much 'decent' sealant in the gaps... a thick good quality mastic may be good enough but check out eBay for sunroof and windscreen sealants

Interms of the passenger foot well did you check your nearside A post? it could have ran down there? again from a leak in your sunroof

I have a better idea, ill stick in on auto trader for £900 in 2month, french piece of c**p ha :d
