Goodness you have a problem, you can see from the pdf that only some of the wiring colours match on either side of the block. If you can confirm any of the connections are correct from your photos then they can be left but the rest will have to be separated and you will have to trace the purpose of the wires using a multimeter and label them until you can get them connected as correctly. Have a look at this video, you may get some clues, there may be others. Let us know how you get on, best.

Paul, couple more things, I'm sure you have realised there are more wires on the load size to cater for higher spec'd cars than yours. If all else fails you can buy the original wiring diagrams on Ebay but they are a bit of a struggle as although comprehensive they show the wiring in sections, for example windows, that would show a schematic of the rear window plugs in the doors and then their connection nos in the R2. Once you have looked at all the sections, brake, locks, lights, windows etc you can build up all the connectors in the pins in R2.

3rd column are the Renault numbers for the individual wires themselves, not where they go to on the plugs so are irrelevant unless you buy a wiring diagram on Ebay where these numbers are displayed on the various wires in the schematics. To check the load side wires you would need to remove door cards etc and use a multimeter to check for continuity to identify each wire, not a job you should tackle lightly as you must get it right first time as if a pair of wires is swopped you might end up needing to start again as it won't be obvious which are the offending pair. Best Wyn

You might be lucky finding an indy Renault garage to take it on especially if they have tackled the same job in the past. But garages can be a bit precious (at least here in the UK) and may quote an inflated price to put you off. A mobile auto electrician might be a better bet if this happens.

I think you would struggle to get a better diagram shown in the earlier post, possibly the one way would be to buy a download of the wiring diagram for the car from the likes of Ebay and then you have the option of picking your model from the options to generate a more accurate diagram from the list of connectors. Personally I would not bother and work through the joints one by by tracing the origin of the wires until you can get all the supply side wires connected. You might have a local garage that has an Autodata account where the diagram should be available. Best, it will not be easy!
