The back lighting on the Laguna II is "white".

 

No it isn't it's black, because it's not so much a 'light' as a 'dark sucker', the more dark it sucks the brighter the surrounding area appears.

I always use dark suckers rather than bulbs, they're far more efficient.

Many thanks for both replies. For some reason, (don't know where I got it) I thought it was red.

 

Yeh Vic it appears red but the bulbs behind are white - it gotta do with the colour of the dials, etc.

P.S. Oh I love those light suckers don't you.
