Hi all
My Scenic II (2004 54 plate 1.4 16V) has just had its resistor pack replaced - this cured the heater blower problem (not working on position 4) BUT as i was pulling up to my house i noticed a noise as if the exhaust was blowing.
I've checked the exhaust system (very roughly) and all seems ok, but when i opened the bonnet i noticed i could 'rock' the engine back and forward about 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch... It seems very loose on the drivers side.
The arrow on this picture points to where the movement is:
And this picture shows a close up shot - the yellow arrow shows the direction of movement, and the blue arrows show roughly where the 'travel' stops - basically where it meets the black cover.
So basically should the engine move easily by hand, and is there an engine mounting bolt in this area?
grrrrr... losing my patience with this car, had it 2 months and its had 4 problems so far...
Thanks in advance
