I ain't got a clue how to attach a picture but the Link below has the diagram half way down the page part 9 is just a straight pipe with no pcv valve but part 10 has the valve and the man at Renault said my engine can either has part 9 or part 10, so mines not got the valve??? Would it make any difference if I brought part 10 with the valve and used it in stead of the straight pipe? I am confused hat the same engine can have either parts, I thought most cars are Ment to have a pcv valve?

Does a Laguna diesel have a PCV valve? I thought they were fitted on petrol engines only (they need manifold vacuum to operate). The diesel engine will have a crankcase ventilation system (CCV) but that could be as simple as a filtered connection. Could be wrong... modern engines still confuse me.

I don't know how to attach an image but the link below half way down the page is a diagram Renault sent me, part 9 is what is on my car but part 10 is also apart that can be added apparently, part 10 is the pcv, if it can be added why did they leave it out, any one know a reason for this? He also said I should replace all the breather pipes in the picture as mine are probably blocked and causing oil to weep outta the joints
