Renault Clio - Interiors - Air Bag Fault Lights

I have had the airbag and service light problem for over a year now.

I have seemed to find that the fault will only show when the temperature is low outside. When it is warm outside, or the car has recently be run and got warm then the lights will no illuminate on start up.

I have done the fiddling and contact cleaning on the wires under the passenger seat. I've not tried the driver side yet (I didn't know there was one there, so this will be my next call).

However I would like to ask if the fault is more likely to be in a certain place with the temperature symptoms?

I have since cleaned the contacts under the driverside seat. I have already done the passenger seat and I'm still getting fault on the dash.

So this fault is not under the seats, unless I need to cut them out and solder them which I'm reluctant to do.

I do think that the answer is somewhere within the fault being intermitted depending on the temperature of the outside or engine temperature. Like I've said, it seems I only get the fault when it's cold outside (usually when it drops below 13 degrees, its got worse it seems as earlier this year it would only occur when the temperature drop below 5 or 6 degrees.).

Does anyone have any experience of these symptoms and issues?
