Hi Im new to this forum.

I have a Twingo Mk I 1.2 1999. I believe it has the same innards as the Clio of that vintage.

It is a French car obviously, since they were not available in the UK, but was imported into the UK by the previous owner.

In order to register it with UK number plates they got the speedo altered to read out in miles per hour.

I have taken the car back to France, and would like to know if there is a way to change the readout back to kilometres per hour?

Best regards

Gerald:)

I would think any adjustment would have been made using a suitable code reader. I have never heard of a DIY solution.

Also I wasn't aware the headlights could be adjusted to dip to the opposite side. Do the headlights have adjustable levers or such on the back or such?
Also does the rear fog light comply with French rules?:)

Whilst the engine is off, If you hold the "Instrument panel information readout control" button then whilst still holding the button turn the engine on the speedo display will start to flash then change from mph to kmph. Keep holding until the display stops flashing.
To change back to mph do again. Very easy :)
