Fluence 1.5Dci throttle issue

Hi all, love this forum, thanks for all your help! But I need more help! My fluence throttle is acting like it has a stiff throttle cable (I know it doesn't have one!!) and it's holding revs up after foot lift off pedal.

The DTCs are as follows
DTC 0226F1
DTC 0226F2
DTC 1525F3

Is it the throttle potentiometer do you think? Has anybody ever come across this fault?

I have browsed the forum here but cannot find if it's a common fault or not.

Thanks in advance!

What did you read the codes with?

Did you work on the engine recently - in particular the throttle?

Do you even suspect that you may have a bad battery or charging circuit?

Try disconnecting battery .................. leave it off for 30 minutes, switch on main front lights, connect the battery and tighten, switch off lights, switch on ignition without starting engine and leave it sitting like that for a minute - only NOW start engine - better?

Thank you for the replies. It appears it may have been a mechanical issue with the pedal. I went through all 3 of the above suggestions, it didn't work after the first 2, but there is a noticeable improvement after spraying the pedal area liberally in WD40 and the pedal moves absolutely more free now. I will give it a spin later and see if the fault codes re-appear, but for now, looks good.

Thanks again.

Keep an eye on it.
I must admit I felt Ralph's suggest more likely to bear fruit, the codes relate to low sensor voltage which does suggest a poor connection.
But if WD has fixed it <img src="https://www.renaultforums.co.uk/images/RenaultForums_uk_2016/smilies/tango_face_grin.png" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" />
Driving fine now and no faults showing on the Delphi software. Definitely a smoother and softer pedal. I was convinced it wasn't a mechanical issue as it flagged 3 faults on the ECU, but you live and learn. I guess the fact the pedal wasn't returning to zero position was triggering faults.

Anyone ever seen this before?

If the ECU does not get the readings it is looking for from the throttle pedal
it usually puts the engine light on and raises the idle speed, pressing the brakes
should bring the idle speed down to normal, seen this a few times often after
someone as been a bit energetic with the cleaner round the pedals.

Good to see a result no matter what cured it.
