Hi All,

New to this forum - looks great, can't wait to get reading!!

Anyway - my wipers on my Laguna II (2001) will not switch off even with the ignition off.. I suspect it's the wiper control relay... but where is it and how do I get to it?

Thanks..

I'm pretty sure that the UCH takes care of controlling the wipers, there are no relays as such.I'd look for water ingress around the are of the UCH or possibly remove the fuse that feeds the unit/disconnect it and leave it for a few hours. They can be a little temperamental at times.

Could be a fault in the wiper motor itself whereby the self parking system isn't working correctly. When the wipers are switched off the motor continues to run until its finds it park position. I ain't certain about the wiper motor on modern Renaults but on older systems this was done via an earthing cable connected to a rotary switch within the motor itself. In these cases if the switch or earth cable was faulty the motor would continue to run or park in the wrong position:0
