Just a small addition to this thread. I had to bypass the R2 connector for pins 14 - 18 which had corroded away on a 2004 2.0L scenic that has a sunroof. For me pin 18 (23H) on the load side had a green wire, not gray. The other colours matched.

Incidentally have waaay more wires on the load side than this diagram. I would love a list of what they all are for but this is the best diagram I have found on the net.

I have Renault Scenic 2006 1.6 16v with water corrosion underneath the seat. I bought a new plug from scrap yard. It was taken off Grand Scenic 1.5 dci. From the diagram posted there are some differences.

Can you please share the colour code specifications on both Supply and Load side.
Example will be Pink with white or red with white or solid red or solid brown.

Please help

I think you would struggle to get a better diagram shown in the earlier post, possibly the one way would be to buy a download of the wiring diagram for the car from the likes of Ebay and then you have the option of picking your model from the options to generate a more accurate diagram from the list of connectors. Personally I would not bother and work through the joints one by by tracing the origin of the wires until you can get all the supply side wires connected. You might have a local garage that has an Autodata account where the diagram should be available. Best, it will not be easy!

Hola, después de haber pasado por alto recientemente el bloque de conexión R2 debido a la entrada de agua, pensé en compartir el diagrama de diseño/cableado que creé.
El lado de suministro parece común a todos los Scenic fabricados entre 2003 y 2009, pero el lado de carga dependerá de la versión y el equipo.
Mi versión es una Grand Scenic 1.5dci Expression 2006 con nivel de equipamiento EPACK.
Si tiene alguna pregunta, no dude en preguntar.

Hi a friend bought a scenic 2 had similar problems hand brake service and no rear windows got under seat to find connection box sat in water took pictures rewired the connected wires then the others colour to colour only to find out that isnt always correct now the handbrake is locked on Manual release doesn't seem to work but on checking and double checking seem to have more wires than I should have on the load side.
Has anyone got an ideas to help please.

Hi, Having recently bypassed the R2 Connection block due to water ingress, I though I would share the layout/Wiring diagram I created.​

The Supply side seems common to all Scenics made between 2003 & 2009, but the load side will be version and equipment dependent.​

My version is a 2006 Grand Scenic 1.5dci Expression with EPACK equipment level.​
