Scenic Reversing lights fuse

Hi

My 1st post on this forum..so here goes.

Both reversing lights on my 2000 Scenic have stopped working. I dont think it's the bulbs as I cant see both going at the same time. So it's gotta be either a fuse or the reverse light switch on the gearbox.

Before I fork out for a new switch can anyone please tell me what fuse I'm looking for & where it would be located? After a bit of searching it seems the Scenic has two fuse boxes, but I cant find the one under the bonnet or the owners manual.

Any help is appreciated

Hi,
the fuse box in the cab should be on the right side low down on the dashboard, sort of below knee level. It is a small pull down flap, all the fuses and what they do are listed on the inside of the flap. Your handbook should explain all.

I would go out to the car and check which fuse it is etc, but for 2 reasons. 1. It's damn cold today and 2. I'm off work with flu!

As I stated above, I cant find the owners manual, it vanished when we moved house.

I've checked the fusebox under the dash but cant find any symbol resembling a reversing light

From memory I think the reverse lights share a fuse with the heater or air-con system - can you find a snow-flake symbol in the fuse cover.
