Renault Laguna 2 - Rear Spring Location.

I've just replaced the rear suspension bushes on my Lag2 Sports Tourer.
After re-fitting the axle I replaced the rear springs but I can't remember which way the mark (yellow paint) on the springs is supposed to face.
Apparently it's important that the springs are fitted in one position for them to seat properly.
Does anyone know which way the paint marks are supposed to face?

Owned for 2 short months,
New Turbo and Pipes fitted, intercooler washed out.
EGR valve cleaned.
New manifold gaskets fitted.
Both front door window winders repaired.
New tyres fitted.
New rear suspension bushes.
Rear discs skimmed.
Interior Water leaks cured.

I LOVE IT THOUGH

Mad or what..

Thanks madnoel (or can I just call you 'mad').

Actually there's no indent or anything in the trailing arm and the spring will fit in any position.
The top rubber mount has 2 protruding ' ears' that look like they should locate somewhere. At the moment I have them facing the wheel but I'm not sure if this is right position.
If anyone has a Laguna2 could they check for me please?

Thanks, Ken.

Rear suspension springs.laguna 2.

I too would be interested in wich direction the paint spots need to face, as i took springs off when changing suspension bushes and stupidly forgot to mark their position for reassembly. Car is 2003 laguna2 dynamyce estate 1-9dci:eek:
